Aigars Kriķis -- highly unprofessional, should go be a priest instead
Never have I come across such an unprofessional attitude. I was fobbed off with ridiculous advice that was closer to the absurd beliefs of a religious cult leader than to the rational thoughts one would expect of a lawyer. God is responsible for everything, and I should go to church (a Russian orthodox one, mind you). Upon asking how exactly a specific crime (by paragraph) might be punished, I was told god would decide. Silly me! I thought it was the pink unicorn that was responsible for the judicial system, but it turns out it's actually god. Tee-hee! Why on earth I should visit a church I have no affiliation with, being unbaptised and a lifelong non-believer, I have no idea.
So, to sum it up:
Mr. Kriķis seems to think the legal system is presided over by a sky fairy. He also suggests people who have no interest in sky fairies to take an interest in them and start visiting sky fairy houses. Please, do yourself a favour and find a lawyer, not someone who doesn't believe in the separation of church and state.
